Our purpose is to help young athletes discover the joy of being fit & experience the positive benefits of a fit lifestyle. This is offered in a safe, fun atmosphere for all levels of young athletes with handcrafted programs designed to improve their strength, speed, and agility. A positive spinoff from our training will be a rise in their confidence. We understand there is much more to life than athletics and deliver positive motivational messages to better prepare athletes for life “outside the lines.”


Coach Dan McGovern

Here's your chance to learn tips and techniques from one of the best teachers in the game. Dan McGovern spent 19 years as a head basketball coach - 13 years as the head coach of two of the top junior college basketball programs in the country. He produced six NJCAA All Americans, and four of his former players played in the NBA. Over 60 of McGovern's players earned scholarships to such NCAA division one schools as Kansas, Oklahoma, UNLV, and Arkansas. His 1991 squad finished the season with a 33-4 record and placed third at the National Tournament. He has over 300 wins as a head college basketball coach and was recently inducted in the Hall of Fame at Barton County Community College. Active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Coach McGovern is passionate about developing more than simply basketball skills. His high energy, positive spirit and enthusiasm are trade marks of his basketball programs. Now come soak up his knowledge, his enthusiasm and his experience.

Randy Moss has a passion for family, fitness and helping kids. STAXJR was started from this passion. Randy Moss is a former wide receiver who played 14 years in the NFL. Randy holds the NFL single season touchdown reception record (23 in 2007), the NFL single season touchdown reception record for a rookie (17 in 1998), and is second on the NFL all time regular season touchdown reception list with 156.  

Moss earned All American honors twice in college,  All Pro honors five times in the NFL. Moss was named Basketball Player of the Year 2 times in high school.
